Privacy Policy

1. Information that stays on your device

System tokens for the apps and categories you select, per-app usage minutes, in-progress focus sessions, and your preferences are stored only in the app's private container on your device. This information is never sent to a server.

2. Screen Time and Family Controls

Dopamine Bank uses Apple's Family Controls, Managed Settings, and Device Activity frameworks to shield the apps you voluntarily select for the duration you choose. Your selections and Screen Time-related information are processed on device and are never sent to Notique Inc.

3. Information sent to our servers

• Anonymous account identifier — the first time you open the app, an anonymous account is created for you. No sign-in, name, or contact detail is required.
• Nickname and shared records — the nickname you enter, and the fact that a committed focus session was broken, are shown to other users.
• Name and email address — sent only if you choose to sign in with Apple under Record Protection, and used solely to restore your records after reinstalling or switching devices. This feature is optional.
• Record backup — for users who have signed in with Apple, in-app progress such as accumulated minutes, streaks, ledger entries, and reward balances is backed up. Your shielded app list and usage minutes are not included.
• Purchase history — sent to our payment processor to validate in-app purchases and confirm subscription status.

4. Service providers

We use Supabase for accounts and record storage, RevenueCat for subscription and purchase management, and Apple's services for sign-in and payments. Each processes information only for these purposes. We do not sell any information.

5. Advertising and tracking

• The app shows no advertising and collects no advertising identifier.
• We do not track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
• Screen Time data is never used for advertising or profiling, and is never shared with a data broker.

6. Retention and deletion

Records on your device remain while the app is installed and are removed when you delete it. You can revoke Screen Time permission at any time in iPhone Settings.

To delete your account and any backup held on our servers, email sean@notique.co. We will delete them promptly once we confirm your request.

7. Children's privacy

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
